The Life Care Center at Wells Crossing in Orange Park, Florida, hosted its second-annual October Festival on Oct. 31, 2018. The event was held in the courtyard of the facility and featured food, entertainment, face painting and other activities for all residents of the community to enjoy.
The therapy team and activities associates at the facility dressed up in costumes and participated in a parade through the building and courtyard. Other facility staff and volunteers spent time serving hot dogs, cotton candy, snow cones, drinks and popcorn to festival attendees. The facility also had carnival-style games such as a baseball challenge, corn-hole and bowling.
“Everyone really enjoyed themselves here at Life Care Center at Wells Crossing,” said Supora Fairbanks, activities director at the facility. “We enjoyed hosting this event and appreciated all of the positive feedback we received.”
Associates, visitors and residents appreciated the food, clowns, jewelry and entertainment the festival featured.
Life Care Center at Wells Crossing plans to host the event next year, continuing to bring the community and facility closer together.
