On May 11, 2018, Life Care Center at Wells Crossing in Orange Park, Florida, hosted a special Mother’s Day luncheon for residents and their families.
Twenty-six women gathered in the dayroom for the celebration, which was set up by Supora Fairbanks, activity director, and her staff. The ladies enjoyed a meal of fried chicken, meatloaf, potato salad, collard greens, yellow rice, banana pudding, cupcakes and iced tea.
Associates presented the mothers with hats, and Marty Sweet, president of the Resident Council, spoke, thanking everyone for a great year and wishing them a happy Mother’s Day.
“It was a very thoughtful and nice gathering with the ladies at our facility,” said Sweet. “The food was good as well. Our dayroom was set up very nicely and made me and the ladies feel special.”
